OUR PARTNERS

Economic Partners

We have a number of significant partners, including the joint INFUSE (Inclusive Finance for the Under Served Economy) $5 million programme of UNDP/UNCDF and the Government of Timor-Leste.  Over the period of 2008-12 INFUSE has provided funding to the major microfinance providers in Timor-Leste, enabling them to grow their services significantly. The contracts provide for a partnership to address Millennium Development Goal #1 — cutting absolute poverty — through meeting the financial needs of the poor.

Collaborating Partners

Moris Rasik and World Education Australia Limited (WEAL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding in March 2009 to enter a partnership with Good Return. This is an online application that allows members of the Australian public to directly impact the lives of those in need by making one-to-one loans to individuals in Asia, the Pacific, and Australia. The goal of the Good Return programme is to provide a sustainable means for low-income people in the Asia-Pacific region to improve their lives through access to capital and skills development opportunities.
